Blind boys: as part of the Sikiliza Leo “Orphans and Vulnerable Children” OVC program, we try to find solutions by looking for a specific donor to accommodate individual cases of OVC issues. In 2010 we discovered 3 blind orphaned children, coming from the same family. We looked for and found 3 families in Belgium to sponsor their education at the Madera Saint Francis School of the Blind in Soroti. Thursday 8 March we visited the 3 boys: Geoffrey (age 17 and in Senior#1), Emanuel (age 15 and in Primary#6), and John (age 14 and in Primary#7). They are doing very well in school, are well integrated and have many friends.
